Railway platforms.
Platforms are used for transportation of long and bulky goods, for example, timber, building materials, wheeled vehicles. Transportation on railway platforms requires special attachments and placement techniques meeting the Russian Railways requirements. Shipping a platform is usually more expensive than shipping an open wagon. Special fitting platforms are used to transport large-tonnage containers (20-24T, 30t, 40 feet).
